But despite its start, my story has transformed into one of multiple passions, resilience, joy, and empowerment, and often on my own terms. Because of the war, I received my education in the U.S., the foundation that fueled me to take a 12-hour bus ride to New York City in pursuit of my global broadcast dreams, and cultivated my resilience in adapting to changing environments.

Conceived during what would be a 14-year civil war, that separated me from my father & most of my immediate family for nearly 15 years, kept me away from my mother's land for two decades, and prompted me to start my solo journey at the age of 17.

Recognizing my story was different made me dream bigger and demand a more significant life. I wanted to meet Oprah Winfrey and work with her, even though I didn’t have the connections. But I was determined to make the most of the opportunities I did have.

Transforming my own story

This journey has taken me from New York City newsrooms to global entertainment events featuring top Afrobeats artists to marketing and selling luxury real estate in NYC, to developing real estate in Liberia, and exploring over 20 countries along the way. I am a culmination of cultural experiences, shaping my unique perspective for consulting and coaching clients, and fueling my passion for impactful work that makes a difference in the lives of others.

I may be a product of war but my story is one of possibilities. A story of variety. A story of purpose & impact and most importantly, a story I get to craft every day.
